After September 11th, something happened in America.
For a little while… nobody cared who voted for who. Nobody argued online. People loved God, loved country, waved flags, helped neighbors, cried together, prayed together… and remembered we were all on the same team.
It only lasted about a month.
That frustrated Julie’s brother, Derrick.
Because it proved something powerful: We CAN come together. We already did it once.
So Derrick created ONUG — One Nation Under God — as a reminder of the kind of unity, kindness, faith, and patriotism we’re still capable of every single day.
The idea was born in the shadow of 9/11, but the message is timeless: Love God. Love people. Love this country. And maybe stop yelling at strangers on the internet for five minutes.
Now, with America celebrating its 250th anniversary, Julie’s Cool Shirts is finally releasing the ONUG collection.
This collection is more than soft fabric and cool design. It’s a reminder.
A reminder that unity is possible. Kindness is possible. Patriotism is still beautiful. And maybe the best version of America happens when we remember we belong to each other.
